Heartbroken, miserable, inconsoleable, you fucking name it. I get to the selection centre, pass all of the medical tests....and at the last second get told my astigmatism is too severe (under the new rules as of a couple months ago) for me to be able to join any of the armed forces. Needless to say I pretty much broke down, and that was at about 11am. I haven't stopped crying yet. Feels like my heart got ripped out of my chest. The one damn dream I almost got to accomplish and it's yanked away at the last possible moment.

Army selection is tomorrow, as of this writing. Will be unavailable from Monday 5pm GMT through to Wednesday 8pm GMT. Will let you all know how it went when I return. On the upside, though, me and a bunch of RL friends (inc. TYR14N (https://www.deviantart.com/tyr14n), Firejasmine10693 (https://www.deviantart.com/firejasmine10693) and ImASpongeyPerson (https://www.deviantart.com/imaspongeyperson) (hopefully)) are meeting up at the local pub, so in addition to me being able to tell THEM how it went, alcohol ahoy, regardless of results!
